Situated in the reclaimed Yaletown area, Vancouver, it's a big complex with much spacious seating, three bars and a dance floor with music played by live bands or mixed by house DJs. Popular for film parties and elegant media special events, this is the new hi-tech district. It is a former warehouse and still has that funky exposed-wood industrial vibe. Drinks are expensive but well poured and with three bars to choose from, easy to get to.

Martinis are the bar’s most common choice however, sexy young staff also sell a selection of whiskeys and you get to dine on delicious Greek and Italian cuisine while watching live jazz!

This restaurant and bar which is located in Yorkville is bright and happy despite being located in a basement with no windows. It's a modest 1970s Japanese vibe and style inside with decor of grey, white and bleached wood except for a wall made of ocean coral. Cocktails are the big hit at this bar, ranging from the dry tonics to more colourful cocktails, but it's the Oriental and Mediterranean food that makes this place. Amber’s menu has a sushi-risotto and a Catalan fisherman's stew. The man who runs the place is a Syrian.
